We are Anna & Alice; two friends and the founders of ebbflowcornwall.  We met in 2015 by way of a shared love for Cornwall, and a shared experience bringing up little people in this beautiful place we are lucky to call home. Inspired by life in the wilds of west Cornwall, we believe in the "less is more" attitude to life. What matters most to us is getting out with our families and searching for a little bit of adventure in the everyday, enjoying free fun and embracing the special place we live. 

ebbflowcornwall was born from a desire to embrace the spirit of the outdoors and move freely through it, unencumbered by ‘stuff’. The hammam towel was and is the foundation of our brand; it is multi-use, lightweight, practical, natural and beautiful. Perfect for use on the beach, in your backpack, as a scarf, towel or picnic blanket - it is the essential companion for every day adventures.

We are continually inspired by the environment around us and every one of our products is designed to be universally useful for an outdoor lifestyle. 

Our quality

We are committed to creating products with a direct line to producers, that are made for busy families and built to last. The practicality of the hammam towel is what we fell in love with when we created our first bright, stripey batch from the Aegean region of Turkey. Colourful and soft, lightweight and versatile, their many uses translate perfectly to our spirited outdoor lifestyle in Cornwall.

Using traditional wooden looms, our artisan producer Rasim works alongside a small team weaving the highest quality towels from 100% cotton, with hand-knotted fringing on each hammam. 

Sustainability

ebbflowcornwall is passionate about creating a better tomorrow for our future generations, and we are always working on ways we can lessen our impact. Our focus is on finding products that are natural and sustainable, as well as versatile and long lasting. We look for quality that can withstand the test of time, meaning they won’t need to be replaced, as well as products that are made on a small scale at a fair price for the producer. Looking after our customers, our producers and the planet is something that we strongly believe in.
